How It Works
Fibrovein contains sodium tetradecyl sulfate, a sclerosant.
When injected into an appropriate vein, the active ingredient causes controlled damage to the vein’s inner lining. This triggers a local inflammatory response and subsequent fibrosis and closure of the treated vein.
Over time, the closed vein is naturally broken down and reabsorbed by the body.
